General Urhokas
Urhokas is of noble birth, but his rise through the ranks has been merited by bravery, confidence, and luck, if not by tactical acumen. His bride is a major figure in her own right, and his aura of leadership is renowned.
Veitsen
There’s more to this woman than she’d usually let on. She leads a double life; artist, sculptor, and layabout-about-town, but also busy, when unseen, as one of Kalliomaa’s foremost spycaptains, overseeing quite the intelligence network.
Klihko
Few dwarves walk the surface of Kalliomaa today, and those who can still be found are present as their duty, not their choice. Gifted with manufacturing techniques beyond the ken of humanity – and even, though they tend not to admit it, technologies not found elsewhere – they still hope that one day the humans will develop sufficiently for the two races to reconnect.
Sisukas
Quite how it came to pass that this man has returned to life is uncertain. A bandit leader of some repute, he fell nonetheless beneath Erika’s blade. Foul sorcery is suspected, as is compulsory whenever something displeases the players.
Princess Schon
One of the royal line of Saaristo, this young belle is betrothed to Kalliomaa’s prince… and has been surprised recently to find herself older and wiser by a species.
Tapper
Schon’s maidservant and assistant, this young woman is brave, skilled… and faster than humans have encountered before.
Taika
Life is tough on the orcish reservations, and in a race where all are deadly warriors, it’s not the strongest but the smartest who rise to the top. Such a one, who has honed her race’s unusual abilities, is the shamaness Taika, close friend of Tarkka-Ampuja.
Teko
High Priest in Valoisa’s temple and master of the shaggy dog story… admittedly, if he was trying to tell meandering tales, that would be better.
